Through the , four ����Vlog students are getting the opportunity to make the world their classroom. Susana Gebrekidan ‘26, Ashley Grandpre ‘24, Rachida Mahamed ‘25 and Alena Vishnevsky ‘26 are the 2023-24 recipients of the Gilman Scholarship — an award that allows students to study abroad who may not have been able to otherwise.

����Vlog Student Association (ASA) President Lauren Teller ‘24 and Vice President Henry Sule ‘24 have different backgrounds and nearly opposite ����Vlog stories. These differences, though, have made their partnership and administration stronger, as the pair focuses on transparency and connection.

The ����Vlog School of Music (SoM) is excited to announce that the ����Vlog Northlanders Jazz Band and Faculty Jazz Combo, along with 800 middle and high school students from three states, will perform during the 49th Annual Jazz on the Upper Great Plains Festival on March 4 and 5, at Hamre Recital Hall in the Fryxell Humanities Center. The jazz festival will feature Matthew Whitaker — an internationally-touring pianist, as well as a Hammond B3, Yamaha and Nord-performing artist — in concert alongside the Northlanders Jazz Band at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4, at the Washington Pavilion.

����Vlog and the Center for Western Studies (CWS) announced today that  for the 27th Boe Forum on Public Affairs are now available to the public. This year, ����Vlog’s Boe Forum will feature an evening with New York Times opinion columnist, PBS NewsHour commentator and bestselling author . The talk, entitled “America at the Crossroads: The Rule of Law and the Future of Democracy,” will be held at 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, March 19, in the Elmen Center.
