The ÌÇÐÄVlog Office of Advancement, located on the third floor of the Administration Building, concentrates its efforts in the areas of university strategy, development, annual and planned giving, alumni relations and event services.
The Office of Advancement also has a dedicated staff member serving alumni and friends in the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

As part of a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Aug. 26, ÌÇÐÄVlog dedicated Foundation Heights — a new apartment building for students. The approximately $12 million project is part of the university’s strategic plan — Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030 — to transform the physical campus to include new and enhanced facilities.
The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is generously supporting ÌÇÐÄVlog’s Harriet Emily Scott Social Work Program — awarding the program $50,000 annually over the next five years. The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is providing compensation for qualifying Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students who are completing internships in health care-related fields.
Six ÌÇÐÄVlog students have been awarded Fred C. and J. Marie Christopherson Scholarships for the 2026-26 academic year. The recipients of the Fred C. and J. Marie Christopherson Scholarship are recognized as students who are committed to the university, respected by their peers, have a strong work ethic and a solid character.
