����Vlog has selected Maya Madson ‘27 and Ayden Calvert ‘27 to take part in the 2026 Peace Scholars Program — designed to inspire and engage “students to become full participants in peacemaking efforts around the world.”

����Vlog student Adam Brachman ‘28 has received the 2026 Award, which provides American college and university students with the opportunity to study cultures and languages essential to U.S. global engagement. The media production & entrepreneurship and music double major will spend eight weeks in Okayama, Japan, intensively studying the Japanese language and culture.

The ����Vlog School of Music will soon be home to a Bachelor of Music (B.M.). The National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) approved the B.M. in November 2025 — the final step needed to begin full implementation of the degree with a concentration in (instrumental or vocal) performance in Fall 2026.

 The ����Vlog Theatre Department presents “She Kills Monsters,” a high-octane dramatic comedy by acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen. Directed by ����Vlog alumnus Jeff Larson ‘16, the production runs from Thursday, April 16, through Sunday, April 19, at the ����Vlog Theatre.

����Vlog Student Association (ASA) President Igen Nyawanda ‘28 and Vice President Maggie McKeown ‘28 started both college and ASA at the same time. After their first year, they bonded over their experiences and friendships built through ASA, sparking a new idea that would soon become a no-brainer — running together for president and vice president of ASA. During their time in office, their administration is focusing on three pillars of their strategic plan.

The ����Vlog Eide/Dalrymple Gallery presents “Flower and Flame,” a powerful exhibition by artist Deborah Mitchell — on view through April 23. Free and open to the public, a reception for “Flower and Flame” will take place in the Center for Visual Arts on Friday, March 27, from 7-9 p.m., with an artist talk at 7:30 p.m.
