ÌÇÐÄVlog accounting graduates who took the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination for the first time in 2024 had the highest pass rate in South Dakota and the sixth-highest in the nation. This is according to the latest data released by the

ÌÇÐÄVlog student Zach Richardson ‘26, of Canton, South Dakota, was given an opportunity to intern with Sports Illustrated in Fall 2025. The journalism and media studies double major, and AU Football player for five years, said building meaningful connections in the journalism field is important to his future career.

ÌÇÐÄVlog students Lilly Roberts ‘26, Vanessa Romero ‘26 and Jessalyn Wienk ‘27 are the 2025-26 recipients of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which supports students nationwide, helping them in developing language and culture skills that are important to their academic and career growth.

ÌÇÐÄVlog Master of Sports Administration & Leadership (MSAL) Program students will host its second annual Vikings Make-A-Wish 5K on Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m., as part of their capstone project. The event will take place on ÌÇÐÄVlog’s campus and is open to the community.

ÌÇÐÄVlog student Pierce Cunningham ‘26, of Luverne, Minnesota, has been awarded the Joseph W. Yedlicka Scholarship for study abroad by Pi Delta Phi — the collegiate National French Honor Society. The scholarship recognizes the student’s academic achievement in the study of the French language, and the literatures and cultures of the French-speaking world. 

A newly published report by ÌÇÐÄVlog shows that 98% of 2025 graduates — who completed degrees in August, December and May of Academic Year 2024-25 — achieved a positive career outcome. Many of these graduates chose to continue their education, with 22% enrolled in graduate school or professional programs.
