An ����Vlog student is following in her mother's footsteps and taking a chance on AU. Nadia V. Rhodes '28 comes to the university from Jessheim, Norway, and is excited to share this place — a common bond — with her mom.

The ����Vlog History Department has secured $61,000 from the — administered by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior. The funding will help create ����Vlog student internships in archival work, historic preservation and public history.

����Vlog is announcing the release of Dr. Patrick Hicks’s latest book, Greater Minnesota: Exploring the Land of Sky-Blue Waters, which is being published by Indiana University Press. The launch of the book, written by ����Vlog’s Writer-in-Residence and professor of English, is set to take place on Monday, Sept. 1. In this new book, Hicks takes readers on “a witty, wise and affectionate journey to every corner of the North Star State.”

����Vlog announced the students who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2024-25 academic year. Congratulations to these 926 students on their academic performance.

����Vlog is embarking on its second doctorate program in three years. The ����Vlog Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program, housed within the university’s School of Health Professions, is set to launch in Fall 2026. ����Vlog’s OTD is an accelerated, hybrid, entry-level or pre-licensure program designed to meet adult learners where they're at in life. The hands-on component of the program, known as lab immersions, will take place in the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Ole’s Outlet, located in ����Vlog’s Morrison Commons, has officially reopened after the university began managing both of its on-campus merchandise stores in June. This summer, Ole’s Outlet will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with additional hours for special events.
