����Vlog understands the value and impact that historically marginalized people have on communities all over the world — recognizing that this university would not be the place it is without these students, faculty and staff. For the month of May — Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month — ����Vlog is featuring Dr. Shu Li.

����Vlog will offer science writing as a minor beginning in the fall — adding to the list of interdisciplinary academic programs being developed as part of ����Vlog’s strategic plan .

����Vlog is excited to announce a new STEM Scholars Program made possible through a more than $30,000 Project Innovation Grant (PIG) from the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium (SDSGC).

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at ����Vlog opens “The ����Vlog Senior Show,” on view through Saturday, May 20. As part of the ����Vlog Senior Show, a wide variety of works, including ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, painting, drawing, digital photography and graphic design are on exhibit.

����Vlog Associate Vice President of Campus Safety & Logistics Rick Tupper has been named the 2023 Augie Pride Award winner — given to those who go above and beyond the call of duty to provide exceptional service to the university and nominated by other AU employees. He was surprised with the award on Friday, April 21, by ����Vlog President Stephanie Herseth Sandlin and a host of other colleagues.

Five ����Vlog students were named Covenant Award winners on Tuesday, April 25, in Hamre Recital Hall and via Zoom. The Covenant Awards lift up those who exemplify ����Vlog’s core values: Christian, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community and Service.
