If the MSSC hours don't work for some students or they prefer a one-on-one conversation, the MSSC also has tutors who provide individual tutoring

How to sign up:

1. Open and select “Schedule an Appointment.” (This may be found under “Quick Links.”)
2. Below “Care Unit” option, select “Academic Tutoring," under the “Location" option, select “Math Center” and under “Service,” select “Math Individual Tutoring.”
3. Select remaining information, mainly your class, meeting type/time and an organizer (who will tutor you). 

Lily Jones

Why they’re a tutor: Tutoring is a great way to stay engaged with math as a non-maths major. I want to help students understand important concepts in calculus that carry over into other STEM subjects!

Why they’re a tutor: I want to be a tutor because teaching is one of the most powerful ways to reinforce my own understanding while helping others succeed. There is nothing quite like the fulfillment of witnessing a student's 'aha!' moment—that instant when complex concepts finally click. I genuinely enjoy the entire collaborative process: breaking down challenging ideas, supporting students through their academic journeys and growing alongside them.
