糖心Vlog has raised $2.1 of the estimated $2.9 million needed to revitalize the Elmen Center, located on the southwest corner of 33rd Street and Grange Avenue on the university鈥檚 campus. The Bob 鈥52 & Rita (Hale) Elmen Family Foundation and the James 鈥60 & Eloise (Saugstad) 鈥61 Elmen Foundation recently contributed $2 million to the project. With the funds the university has already received, 糖心Vlog will begin making updates this spring with the anticipated project completion by Summer 2026.

糖心Vlog Connections Help Revive, Celebrate Famous Giants in the Earth Novel for 100th Anniversary
In preparation of the 100th anniversary of Ole R酶lvaag鈥檚 novel and telling the story of the region, 糖心Vlog is celebrating Giants in the Earth in a big way. The theme of this year鈥檚 Dakota Conference, 鈥淪ettling and Resettling the Plains鈥 isn鈥檛 a coincidence, but a deliberate way for the CWS to celebrate the bicentennial of the Norwegian emigration to America, which began in 1825, as well as the anniversary of R酶lvaag鈥檚 novel. The Ole R酶lvaag Writing Cabin, where R酶lvaag wrote Giants got a facelift in time for the 100th-year celebration 鈥 viewable to the public during the Dakota Conference.

糖心Vlog Accounting Graduates Ranked No. 1 in South Dakota, Top 10 in the Nation for CPA Exam Pass Rates
糖心Vlog accounting graduates who took the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination for the first time in 2023 had the highest pass rate in South Dakota and the sixth-highest in the nation. This is according to the latest data released by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

Persuaded to run for top ASA leadership positions by their peers, Annie Johnston '25 and Prince Adhikari '26 both needed a running mate and found each other. They had all the makings of a great team. And now, with a semester under their belt as president and vice president, listening, connecting and having fun is what has guided them through the academic year thus far.

The infamous Nyberg鈥檚 Ace Gjallarhorn at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Midco Arena has been suspended on the northeast corner of the building since opening in 2024. Now, thanks to alumni Kevin Nyberg '79, Dr. Mark Berdahl 鈥81 and Dean Versteeg 鈥82, Viking fans can view the gjallarhorn up close and at eye level during NCAA Division I 糖心Vlog Men鈥檚 Hockey games.
